EVIDENCE GUIDE / SCOPE BEFORE CLAIMS

Follow the decision trail.

Learn how decision records, requirements maps, manufacturability briefs, and scoped case evidence support industrial drone program choices.

What counts as credible proof for an industrial drone program?

Useful proof shows the decision trail, scope, evidence basis, limits, and responsible owner. A logo, aircraft photo, broad capability statement, or unsourced outcome does not establish program fit.

EVIDENCE STANDARD

Evaluate artifacts, not impressions.

Artifact 01

Build-adapt-source record

Mission criteria, options considered, decision logic, selected path, open risks, owners, and next proof.

Public-safe version
A method template with no customer or performance claim.
What it proves
How the platform decision is made, not that a specific program result occurred.
Artifact 02

Requirements map

Mission, payload, environment, deployment, interfaces, safety, support, acceptance, and unresolved assumptions.

Public-safe version
A blank expert worksheet or fully approved redaction.
What it proves
Completeness of the decision framework, not product compliance.
Artifact 03

Manufacturability brief

Controlled parts, source risk, assembly, tooling, inspection, test, configuration, records, spares, and release considerations.

Public-safe version
An illustrative structure clearly identified as a template.
What it proves
The review categories, not available capacity or production performance.
Artifact 04

Program case record

Starting point, scope, method, measurement basis, result, limitations, approval, and review date.

Public-safe version
Publish only after exact facts and wording receive public-use approval.
What it proves
Only the documented result within its stated scope.

CLAIM CHECK

Before relying on a proof statement, ask five questions.

  1. Who owns the evidence?A named internal evidence owner should be accountable for accuracy.
  2. What exactly was measured? The unit, population, conditions, period, and method should be explicit.
  3. What scope does it support?Program, product, facility, process, or credential scope should not be generalized.
  4. Was public use approved?Customer, contractual, confidentiality, and legal boundaries must be resolved.
  5. When is review required?Claims that can change need a date, owner, and expiration or review point.

FIELD DECISION

Begin with the decision evidence your program already has.

A fit review can identify missing artifacts without asking for protected files through the public site.
